Rio Grande Southern from Rico to Dolores in Sn3

Tour the Rio Grande Southern on Bill Busacca’s S scale model. You’ll see the RGS in the 1940s working its route from Rico to Dolores on Bill’s beautiful, detailed pike. We include a conversation with Bill about some of the aspects of the railroad and his modeling techniques. You’ll enjoy the exquisite scenery and carefully constructed cityscapes. We also include a cab ride around the layout on the movie.

Art Comes to Life in the North Cascades in HO

Visit the freelanced Franklin Ridge Lines, an HO scale layout based in the North Cascades of Washington State. The layout belongs to Barry Franklin. It was built by Progressive Model Design and includes more details added by modeler Todd Gamble and a mural by artist Andy Eccleshall. We share the creative story of the railroad (written by Jenny Waters of Trackside), how it was constructed, and a creative ridealong on the layout.

Blu-ray + DVD orders are shipped within 1-2 business days, except for instances when our travel schedule makes that impossible. All US orders include free shipping. International orders will be subject to shipping costs. Our DVD and Blu-rays are region free and are in NTSC format.

  1. Bill

It is truly amazing to see your own layout that you have worked on for about 27 years in two homes, and see it all in action. It has been fun to try to make each of my RGS scenes duplicate the prototype locations as accurately as possible. And then, have trains running through the scenes!! Wow! I’m so glad that Ross and Jenny have made it possible for me to share my years of work with my family and friends who have never seen the layout. THANK YOU, BILL
